Sunday Brunch…

Now I remember why I do not really do Sunday brunch, but at Mom´s.  I just had brunch with my friend Raquel from work.  I went just because her mom was in town and I sort of ditch her last time.  I obviously feel hungry and I like food (hence my size). But I have some issues with eating out, for example: I do not really like bagels, they are way too much bread, and seriously wheat does not like my body as much… also, I do not like fried stuff, nor I like spices, and I do not like the dressings on my salads, I usually ask to have all the dairy out (lactose intolerant)… so my food is never what the restaurants offer.

Getting back to the Sunday Brunch event, I have to eat before, I ate a tuna salad my mom made for me last night when she came over.  So I went there and to not be anti-social, I just ordered cappuccino and a fruit salad…. and boom… they were having massive, I mean MASSIVE amount of food… good thing I just had the salad before, because my appetite was completely off when I saw the food… and you have to eat to be healthy, productive and have energy to do all the things you need to do on Earth!

On the other hand, as someone who has read “Fast Food Nation” and watched the movie, I feel absolutely disgusted by cold cuts (ham, sausages, etc.), and any kind of processed meat, cheese, or food…

Too much food at once is just a major turn-off. I mean, a buffet doesn’t do it for me, nor eating until passing out, I have done it and I ended up with serious tummy problems or aches.

I love the experience of having food with a friend, but I have to come out with another idea because Sunday Brunch is not fun any more…
