Preservatives and Fibromyalgia…
Last week I had dinner with a dear friend. My friend is very healthy -conscious, so I was on and on saying how healthy my diet was, yada, yada, yada, and then came the coffee time. I immediately gave my disclaimer and said: “this is my only vice” and just saw a big pair of shocked eyes staring at me (and judging… I’m sure). I just drank my coffee the way I like it: 2 sugar substitutes.
I actually have the FAT gene and do not really like sugar or sweets anymore, more than not liking them, I’m scare of them. I have been fat, and I am scared about getting an ounce of extra fat- I am already in the chubby side.
Coffee and Tea are delicious. Tea with honey is great… But can you get honey everywhere? I don’t think so… And the coffee… We’ll it is supposed to be enjoyed and without sugar it is plain bitter and disgusting.
I know and I’m aware of the risks of sugar, sugar substitutes, salt, etc. I think I am entitled to a sweet tea or coffee – guilt-free… I had a dejavĂș while drinking my cappuccino… I remembered my friend Irina and how she flipped out just by seeing sugar substitutes and coffee…
I’ll see what I can do about sugar alternatives… Is stevia alright? I afterall, I have chronic pain and fibromyalgia…
