Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt described his company as part of a “gang of four” kings of consumer technology, along with Amazon, Apple and Facebook. Explicitly not on that list: Microsoft. Speaking at the opening interview of the All Things D conference in southern California, Schmi…
I assume my rol and I choose to not be a victim anymore, I am the only thinker in my mind and the only one that feels in my heart. I am happy with God as my guide.
A cognitive neuroscientist, Ellen Bialystok has spent almost 40 years learning about how bilingualism sharpens the mind. Her good news: Among other benefits, the regular use of two languages appears to delay the onset of Alzheimer’s disease symptoms. Dr. Bialystok, 62, a distinguished research professor of psychology at York University in Toronto, was awarded a $100,000 Killam Prize last year for her contributions to social science. Why is so hard to say I love you? I have been always scared to say I love you. I guess that I was not scared really about the words, but about the reaction and feelings that those words would stir the person that the words were intended to.
I had said it a few times and my fear had dominated me (before, during, and after). I used to over-analyzed every single action and word, so I guess those words were not really freely said, deep inside of me, I was expecting something in return… I think now that I was expecting “I love you too”, and the fear of not heard those words in return hampered me from really saying that.
My new ME says that all the time, and I am not asking anything in return… I stick to the saying “Let God do his business, others take care of their business, and only focus on my business”. So when I say I love you, that is my business, the reaction is your business 🙂
I love you!
I do love my android, I have cut my nails really, really short so I can use it more. I have spent quite a few nights searching for cool apps… however, the fact that I do not really know what it is doing makes me feel uncomfortable… For example, I installed the adobe flash player to play some online games, (after some hours of searching and the help of my dear friends from LG)… I saw it was installed, but not sure because I cannot load the online games…
I´ll keep trying…
